I'm an Account Manager working on ASO (app store optimisation), managing paid media campaigns, using analytics tools to measure effectiveness and provide data to optimise campaigns. Working closely with clients and various departments within the agency Improving performance of campaigns and in turn, revenue

What's do you consider to be key skills for an Account Manager?

You need to go that extra mile for the client. Communication is key. Understanding your client's goals and then steering them towards them.

It's important to know how they want to grow and then offer strategies we can implement to get them there and increase their revenue by working on ASO, conversion optimisation, strategy and paid media.

It's vital to have insight to the market and knowing what works for clients, understanding client needs and working on strategy, execution, management and reporting of campaigns.

It's also vital to stay knowledgeable about mobile marketing channels, and how to improve their mobile presence and grow their business.

What do you enjoy about it?

I like solving problems and chasing down solutions. Searching for new keywords using our new algorithm, discovering more channels to grow a client, coming up with answers on how to effect paid strategy… There's always something new to learn.

Swimming. Skiing. I like gritty movies, David Fincher, Seven, that sort of thing.
